From the east to the west and the Aeolian islands, and from the coastlines to the mountain ranges, discover Sicily’s culinary differences, shaped by over 3000 years of history. Here is a taste of your culinary journey:
- Visit a west coast winery located within a notable 15th century farmhouse to sample Sicily’s zesty wines and devour 9th century Moorish influenced cuisine in the stunning internal courtyard, including the regions famous Fish Cuscus
- Discover the shimmering saltpans of Mozia with origins dating back to Phoenician times and learn more about this precious ancient commodity, with unforgettable views of the lagoon and ancient windmills
- Spend a morning with the shepherds in the ancient rural heartland, making and tasting our very own cheese, and learn more about this age-old production carried out since the Greeks found the Sicilian terrain perfect for rearing sheep and goats, making milk based products for profitable trade between Magna Graecia
